The M.T. Abraham Center for the Visual Arts is proud to support pioneering scholarship and research that provides clearer insights into art history.

The Center also makes major contribution to education programs, such as the one at the Herakleidon Art Museum in Athens, where children and adults alike have had the unusual opportunity to discuss the Degas set of bronzes with each other in an open forum.

This has led to a greater understanding of the artist’s unique ability to convey movement and grace in three dimensions—a major sculptural achievement at the time.
